| Method | From a georeferenced USGS GeoTIFF (1:31,680), reprojected to longitude and latitude and cut at its neatline, then placed with the 56 corners of a regular grid on it (an exact fit). The sheet was drawn on the Old Hawaiian datum, so positions can differ from today’s by a few hundred metres. See the methodology. |
